To enter data for groups of animals or company-related information, select the navigation button ‘Data Entry’. In the navigation pane, click on ‘Company Data’
When entering data, first select the event you want to enter. The fields that have been set will then become visible. By default, all fields are displayed. If there are fields that you do not want to enter, that you want to repeat, or that should have a default value, click on “Properties" For more information, see: Input properties
The events: Animals entered | Registration of the arrival or placement of a group of animals. For rearing pigs and finishing pigs, you can also indicate whether the animals were weaned from your own farm. | Animal removal | Registration of the removal of animals from the farm.
Four removal types are supported: Type | Description | To slaughterhouse | The animal has been sold for slaughter.
| Death | | Euthanasia | The animal has been euthanized due to illness or injuries.
| Sold | The animal has been sold or transferred to another farm for production purposes.

| Animal moved | Registration for moving groups of animals. This allows you to specify from which animal category the animals are being moved and to which animal category they are going. | Animal group weigh | Option to enter a weighting for a group of animals. | Feed in / feed out | Registration of feed. Before entering the “Cost type code,” codes must first be created under ‘Codes’ --> “Costs/revenues.” See: Code Setup: Feed codes | Expense | Registration of various expenses. The “Cost type code” must first be created under ‘Codes’ --> “Costs/revenues.” Under “Group,” you can then indicate which cost item this belongs to. See: Create/change codes | Income | Registration of income. | Inventory | Registration of stock at the company. The “Cost type code” can be created under ‘Codes’ --> “Costs/revenues.” See: Code Setup: Feed codes | Animal count | Registration of an actual animal count in the barn, which is compared with the automatic animal count in PigExpert. PigExpert does not make any corrections based on this count. | Value animals | It is possible to enter the value of the livestock on a specific date. | Company remark | This is a freely definable field in which a free comment can be entered. | | Treatment group | Registration of the treatment of a group of animals. The medication used for treatment must first be created under “Codes” --> “Treatments.” See: Create/change codes |
