In PigExpert, you can adjust the settings for the expected farrowing date.
To adjust this setting, go to “Options site”
This window opens in the Sows tab.
Here you will find various settings related to time intervals.
The average number of pregnancy days allows you to set the number of days used to calculate the expected farrowing date.
This is the date of first mating + average number of days of pregnancy.
In addition to this average number, it is also possible to calculate the expected gestation period of the sow based on the sow's history.
To do this, check the box next to: Expected farrowing date dependent on the history.
