Period overviews are divided into the categories Sows, Piglet rearing, Fattening pigs, and Rearing animals.
When retrieving an overview, only results from the relevant category can be displayed.
To retrieve a period overview, you must select the correct period.
You can do this on the right-hand side of the screen in Period settings.
At the top, select the type of periods you want to display. These can be periods of a day, week, or month, for example.
Or free entries, if you want to specify the periods yourself.
Then select the reference date. This is the last day of the period you want to retrieve
(If Last month is checked, the last day of the last closed month is automatically filled in when you open the overview).

Under Periods to calculated, you indicate how many periods up to and including the reference date are calculated.
Three periods with a period type of month indicates three months up to the reference date.
By using a - (minus), you indicate that instead of the reference date, you want to use the date from the line above as the reference date.
If you have checked the Free entries option, you can enter the start date and end date yourself instead of selecting a period.
Select the B behind the period to display this period in bold in the overview.
Order of the periods
The order in which the periods are listed in the period settings is not the order in which they are displayed in the overview.
The order of the periods displayed can be adjusted by changing the sorting order using the Sort button in the toolbar.
Additional options for sows
- It is possible to calculate the results for sows only if they have completed a full cycle. A sow's cycle is complete when she has been weaned, has had an abortion, or has been removed.
- If you want to calculate the growth of the weaned piglets, you can check this option. Calculating the results will then take longer.

- You can specify a line per period to include only sows from this line in this period.
Line in series indicates that you want to place all periods with the same line next to each other.

Additional options for Fattening pigs, Piglet rearing, and Rearing animals
- If you only want to retrieve results from a specific barn, you can enter the barn code under Barn. You can specify multiple barns by separating them with a comma.
- If you enter live weights at removal, you can have PigExpert calculate using these weights. If this option is not checked, or if the live weight is unknown, PigExpert will calculate the live weight based on the slaughter weights and the specified conversion factor.
