The button bar for data entry has various functions for recording data.

Save
The data you have entered will be validated and (if validation is OK) saved. If a new rule has been entered, a blank rule will be displayed; if an existing rule has been changed, it will remain visible on the screen. See also “New.”
Undo
The data that has been entered and changed since it was last saved will be undone.
New
A blank line is inserted. If data has been changed but not saved, you will be asked whether you want to save this data.
Delete
The line visible in the input field will be deleted. If deletion is not allowed, an error message will be displayed.
Please note:
If you delete an animal's arrival, the entire animal will be removed from the administration! Any historical data for this animal will also be deleted.
Refresh
The content of the field containing historical and/or detailed information is retrieved again from the database.
Import
Instead of manual data entry, the program supports data import in various places. This is often used to import information provided by external parties (e.g., breeding organizations).
Properties
To speed up the input process, there are various settings available under this button. Fields that must be filled in can also be set here. For a more detailed explanation of the settings, see: Input properties.
Tattooing piglets
Animals can be identified in the program from birth. This button is used to create the identifications for a litter of piglets. The number series has already been defined in advance under Animal ID series.
For a more detailed explanation of the settings, see tattooing piglets.
Transfer animals
It is possible to transfer animals from another company in the same database.
For further explanation of the settings, see Transfer animals.
